For patients of HMG Pediatrics at Medical Plaza, the HMG Pediatric After-Hours Clinic is open:
Mon – Fri: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Sat: 9 am – 1 pm
The HMG Pediatric After-Hours Clinic is only available to patients of HMG Pediatrics at Medical Plaza.
In addition, we offer HMG Urgent Care Clinics in Abingdon, Bristol and Kingsport.
For patients of HMG Pediatrics at Medical Plaza, we have our HMG Pediatric After-Hours Clinic. Otherwise, we offer an answering service available 24/7, 365 days a year. HMG Pediatric patients can call any of our offices after-hours to be connected to the provider on call. In addition, we offer HMG Urgent Care Clinics in Abingdon, Bristol and Kingsport.
Yes, if you need an appointment for a sick child, simply call the office or schedule an appointment online.

We follow the AAP guidelines for well child care.
Our nursing staff is available for medication refills and to answer questions. Simply call the office and ask.
HMG accepts and files most insurance plans. Currently, we do not accept Aetna Better Health of Virginia, Kentucky Medicaid, North Carolina Medicaid, Wellpoint TennCare, or Magellan CCC Plus of VA (Molina).
